Mesotherapy is a medical specialty which aims on the cellulite affected areas with microinjections of conventional or homeopathic medicines, vitamins, minerals and amino acids.

Basically the small medicinal bullets are delivered directly into the middle layer of skin which are highly specific to the condition being treated.
In spite of this therapy being effective in the treatment of the cellulite there are some controversies associated with it. This cellulite treatment method involves injecting drugs or other substances directly into affected tissue.

Normally the FDA-approved medications are used off-label which means that they have been approved for other conditions but not for treatment of this particular condition in the injections.

In this treatment method the herbs and vitamins are often used as well in the injection cocktails. Even though this treatment method is widely utilized in Europe & some other countries but according to the experts in this area this treatment is unproven and risky.
